Mrs. Brown and "Do It Yourself"

It's canola time again in Harden, took this on Saturday with the brief respite from the rain. The miserable weather has been almost relentless and it looks like we will see sunshine again on Wednesday. Urggh, the long range forecast is still predicting rain for Saturday week...THE WEDDING DAY...so my fingers and toes are crossed that it is wrong. Surely it can't rain 3 weekends in a row???

I've been busy with wedding stuff,
I've been crafty, which I'm not usually, but I made this the other day for the top of the garden arch.

and some tulle bows for the sides of the arch , I'll use them on the front of the wedding table after the ceremony I think.

9 days to go!!!!!!!!!

I've also been browsing Wedding forums ,I came across a thread that had me in stitches. Brides to be were asking about Brazillians, to wax or not to wax....it was very.....enlightening.
then someone posted this on facebook : It cracked me up ...

  1. Is the wedding on the 15th? My stepdaughter's wedding is on the 15th :)

I've never really done wedding-y stuff with anyone before, it was weird to go shopping with her for decorations. She's just having a small-ish country wedding, so it's been more fun than planning for a formal wedding. I'm excited for her, but my husband is dreading it lol. I think he can't believe his little girl is 25 already...:P

And that video is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. I laughed until I had tears running down my cheeks.
